We had a fire drill today at the building where I work. And the building management has made a habit of providing ice cream in the parking garage where we all gather after evacuating. One time it was Amy’s ice cream, our choice of chocolate or Mexican vanilla. And the last two times, it’s been bins of popsicles, ice cream sandwiches etc. like the ones they have at convenience stores.
I predict that in the event of an actual emergency, we’re all going to be very disappointed by the lack of snacks.
